From Monday 8th until Thursday 11th October the practice will be running a very limited service due to removal and replacement of our computer system.

What this means for you:

We cannot see patients except for absolute emergencies.  Please do not ring during this time as we cannot give you an appointment

We cannot process prescriptions.  if you know you will need a prescription at this time please submit it to us by Thursday 4th October at the latest so we can print off before the computers are removed.

Please do not attend for a blood test during this time as we will not be able to take it.  You can come on Monday 8th, Thursday 11th or Friday 12th October instead.

Please be patient and bear with us during this time.

Practice Management

Our practice manager, Jackie Connor, is responsible for the overall smooth running and back-room organisation of the practice. She will be happy to hear your comments – both good and bad – so feel free to ring or ask to see her in person at any time. Her remit is to provide an efficient and friendly service of the highest possible standard. We recognise, however, that occasionally things do not go as smoothly as we would like. We welcome suggestions and there is a suggestion box available for your comments in reception. Should you have any reason to complain, please make this in writing to Jackie, who is the complaints officer. The practice has an approved in-house complaints procedure.

Mrs Jackie Connor (f)

The reception team will make appointments for you to see the doctors and other members of the practice team. They will be pleased to help you regarding any queries you may have including change of address or telephone number (including mobile numbers). Just ring the main surgery number (0131 322 2111) or call in and speak to them. Our reception area is a very busy place with the receptionists answering queries, making appointments, printing prescriptions, scanning records often all at the same time! Please be patient if you are waiting at the front desk – they will be with you as soon as they can.
